The DP Customs LB7 Fuel Distribution Block is a one of a kind product designed for the LB7 Duramax fuel system. Whether you are pushing high horsepower at a competition level or want to make the most of your stock set up, this fuel block can be beneficial to you!

Key Functions:

Until now, LB7s with aftermarket 3" y bridges could not fit a factory or aftermarket LB7 relief valves. Aftermarket 3" y bridge necks interfere with the banjo style reliefs forcing the end user to use a plug in the port instead. Running a plug instead of a relief can potentially damage the motor and injectors during rail pressure spikes. The DP Customs LB7 Fuel Distribution Block relocates the relief port to a vertical position and converts the system to utilize the 04.5-10 LLY/LBZ/LMM style instead. The 04.5-10 LLY/LBZ/LMM relief/plug is more compact, more affordable, and more readily available. When the relief valve pops off, the bleed off fuel flows through a -4 ORB style hole and can be routed back into the return line plumbing. Various pressure rated reliefs are available for purchase separately or included in kit.

Twenty years ago when the Duramax platform was created, the performance diesel industry had just started. Oversized injectors, turbos, and pumps were just ideas, prototypes or things of the future. Enthusiast had to be creative with ways to make more power with what they already had. It wasn't long before someone figured out that running higher rail pressure than factory improved atomization. This idea resulted in a more efficient/cleaner burn and more horsepower. Since then, it is still common to see high rail pressures being ran on competition or higher horsepower trucks. From factory, the LB7 fuel system could read and create 23K PSI. With tuning changes, the system had potential of making 26K PSI where the sensor would max out for reading capabilities. The LLY fuel system shared the same pressure readings and could also be changed with tuning adjustments. It wasn't until the LBZ with a improved CP3 that 26K PSI was the new factory standard and would have the capability to read and be changed to run 29K PSI. Installing a LBZ/LMM/LML fuel pressure sensor in the end of the passenger side LB7 fuel rail is possible, but because of the distance from factory plug it requires harness modification or a jumper harness to be made. The factory fuel rail plugs are also extremely tight and can be challenging to remove in the truck. The DP Customs LB7 Fuel Distribution Block allows the user to utilize a LBZ/LMM fuel rail pressure sensor in a factory like convenient location which results in a plug and play factory harness connection. The sensor also faces vertically for ease of installation and removal. Bosch LBZ/LMM/LML fuel rail pressure sensors are available for purchase separately or included in kit.
